Our Programs

ORCA programs are based on two primary missions; expanding the quantity of rugby players through grassroots initiatives like Rookie Rugby and Community Rugby.  Our competition programs involve developing Central Alberta athletes through the "School of Rugby" academy and the participate in Alberta's Regional Competitions with our Central Predators representative program

Rookie Rugby

Rookie Rugby is a program specifically designed to bring rugby into schools and other community based program creating the opportunity for thousands of Central Alberta children to be introduced to this amazing sport
 

Community Rugby

Community Rugby is an new initiative to provide introduction based rugby programs in municipalities across Central Alberta. Using small-side games community rugby will focus on developing core skills for new players looking to play rugby.

Predators Rugby

Predators Rugby respresents Central Alberta in Rugby Alberta's regional competitions.  Our mission is to identify and develop young rugby athletes and provide them a strong foundation by prioritizing character, culture and continuous improvement.
 

School of Rugby (SOR)

Modeled around international programs of Scotland and England  SoR is specially designed to be a holistic approach to athletic development focused on five general areas of physical, mental, lifestyle, technical and tactical rugby skill development.
